BROPHEY: Peacefully, at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall, Friday, December 7, 2007, Eleanor Jean (Dawson) Brophey, formerly of Grand Bend, age 79. Beloved wife of the late Cleve Fallis Brophey (2004). Loved mother of Glenn and Karen Brophey of Corbeil, Elizabeth “Liz” and Tony Bianchi of London. Loving grandma of Erin Brophey, David Brophey, Carly Bianchi and Brooke Bianchi. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Murray and Beatrice Dawson of Grand Bend, Ruth and Jim McBride of Calgary, Frances and Fred Rinker of London. Remembered by her friends, nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her brother Glenn Dawson (infancy), parents Frederick and Helen (Anderson) Dawson. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday afternoon 2 to 4 p.m. only; where the funeral service will be held Monday, December 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the VON Perth-Huron Palliative Care Volunteer Program or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
