At Craigwiel Gardens Nursing Home, Ailsa Craig on Thursday, March 12, 2015 formerly of Aylmer in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Pete) Boxer (2009). Dear mother and grandmother of Craig and Nancy Boxer and their children Jamie (Ryan), Jill (Shawn) and Kelly of Lucan, Cathy and Steven Byrd and their children Andrew and Meagan of Bolton and Jeff and Paula Boxer and their children Shiyan, Grace and Rudy of Ottawa. Loving great-grandmother of Harper and Ellie. Dear sister of Norma Greswell of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan and sister-in-law of Jerry Greswell of Leamington. Predeceased by her brother Jack Greswell and sister-in-law Barbara Boxer. Edie’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Andrew Whynot and the entire staff at Craigwiel Gardens Nursing Home. Edith’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.
A memorial service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:30 AM. Cremation with interment Aylmer Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

A Mr. Boxer was on dialysis several years ago. He spoke highly of his wife and family. I even hemmed a pair of slacks for his wife. I,ve never met any of his family but just letting you know I knew family by listening to mr. Boxer. My husband was on dialysis at the same time.
