Betty passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Borland (2017). Cherished mother of Jeff Borland of Woodham, and Brad and Darlene Borland of Exeter. Proud grandma of Kennedy, and Matthew Borland. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Annie (Connor) Willard, her brother and sister-in-law Roy and Dorothy Willard and her in-laws; Bert and June Borland, Loreen and Willis Gill, Mary and Bill Rowcliffe, Alma Borland, Wilma and Sandy Munn, Lyla and Larry Rudolph, Lillian and Bob Watters, and June and John Hodgins. Betty was a member of the Thames Road-Elimville UCW for many years.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on WEDNESDAY, January 29th from 5 – 8 PM.
Betty’s funeral service will be held in the funeral home on FRIDAY, January 31st at 11 AM with Rev. Louise von Massow officiating. Private family interment Exeter Cemetery.

Donations to West Huron Care Centre (Blue Water Rest Home), Thames Road-Elimville United Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
