It is with great sadness that the family of Benjamin (Ben) Joseph Duskocy age 21 of Lucan announces his passing on Monday July 7, 2003 at University Hospital after a 3 month courageous battle with a brain tumour. Beloved son of Amy and the late Gerry Duskocy (May 1999). Cherished brother of Jennifer Tucker and her husband Greg of Amherst, Nova Scotia, Laura of Stratford and her fiance Ed Blackmore of Cambridge and Adam of Hartford, Connecticut. Loving grandson of Irene and the late Michael Duskocy (April 2002) of Kitchener and Joseph and Aldene Nestman of Walkerton. He will be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends that he made in his short time here. Ben is a graduate of John Paul II High School of London and was a second year Computer Science Technology student at Sheridan College. Hockey and baseball played a major role in his life. Friends may call at the C. Haskett & Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church on Thursday July 10th at 11AM with Father Thom Blondin presiding. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or the V.O.N. Middlesex Branch would be appreciated by the family. Prayers will be said in the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8:45 PM.
