It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Helma Amelia (Clausius) Beierling, at Jessica’s House, Exeter on October 23, 2020 of Zurich, at the age of 92. Beloved wife and soul mate of the late Elmer Beierling (November 1, 2017). Loving mother of Ron and Catherine Beierling of Zurich. Cherished grandma of Jenna and Tim Thornton (Ottawa), Stacey and Scott Gregus (Lucan), Michael Beierling (Zurich) and his fiancé Riley Rooseboom. Dear sister-in-law of Dorothy and Douglas Stephen of Exeter. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Albert, Harvey, Clifford, and Hugh, and sister Leila, and their spouses.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street North, ZURICH on Sunday from 3 – 4 PM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP for the visitation.
The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, October 26th at 11 AM, with Pastor Nadine Schroeder-Kranz officiating. Interment St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Zurich. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, there are limited attendees able to join. Each person must RSVP for the service. We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

I remember Great Auntie Helma as such a kind, sweet and soft spoken lady.
I remember when I was just a little kid in St. Boniface School and on recess I would look over at there big white house up on top of the hill and proudly tell my friends that was my Uncle Elmer and Auntie Helma’s house.
