BECKER: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, Marian Elizabeth Becker of Zurich, age 86. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Marjorie (Becker) McKoy of Gaspe, QC., and Carol (Shackleton) Becker of Dashwood. Remembered by her special nieces Barbara Ann Vibert, Heather Stark and nephew Larry Becker and her many other nieces, nephews and their families. Fondly remembered by her dear friend Gloria Lamb of Huron Park. Predeceased by her parents Rudolph “Rudy” and Violet (Volk) Becker, brother Alvin Michael Becker and brother-in-law Howard McKoy. The Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Dashwood on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. The Rev. John E. Trembulak III Officiating. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Marian loved puzzles, reading, sewing, specifically quilting, gardening in her back yard and going for ice cream. Marian was a long time resident of the Blue Water Rest Home and her family would like to thank all of the Staff there for treating Aunt Marian like she was a part of their own family. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Zion Lutheran Church, Dashwood; Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
