BECKER: Peacefully at Exeter Villa, on Tuesday August 27, 2013, Lorne Robert Becker of R. R. #1, Dashwood, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Isabelle Ruth (Schweitzer) Becker. Loved father and father-in-law of Diane Leibold of Dashwood, Roy Becker and partner Debbie McNaire of R. R. #2, Crediton, Wayne Becker and partner Carolyn Rose of R. R. #3, Zurich. Loving grandpa of John Leibold and fiancée Arron Meriam, Samantha Wall and partner John Albert, Christopher and Sonya Gibson, Jamie Becker, Jessica Becker, Jennifer Becker and great-grandpa of Alex Leibold, Nicholas Leibold, Dayna Tye, Jessica Jones, Deighan Crane, Cody Leibold, Kyle Hayes, Grady Wall, Abby Wall, Sabrina Hiusser and Gregory Hiusser. Dear brother-in-law of Kathleen Kirk of Moose Jaw, SK. Loved by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Henry Jacob (1992) and Anna Margaret Louise (Brandt) Becker (2002), brother Allan (1991), sisters Martha Pfaff (2003) and Shirley Becker (2012), granddaughter Jeanette Leibold (Tye) (2005). Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. John E. Trembulak III officiating. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Lorne was a long time farmer and operated Lorne R. Becker Construction for many years.
