It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Jeff, who left us unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the age of 43. Though his time with us ended far too soon, his warmth, love, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Cherished father of Madison (Tanner), the late Jesse, Xavier, and Anthony. Adored grandfather of Daxton. Loving son of Carol (Dennis) Duquette, Tom (Deb) Barry and grandson of Shirley Staffen. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Kevin Barry, Brad (Teghan) Barry, Tracy (Rob) Laframboise, Adam (Amanda) Barry, and Derek (Ashley) Duquette. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his grandparents Glen Staffen, and Ken and Donelda Barry.
Jeff had a deep love for the simple joys in life, especially spending time out on the water with a fishing rod in hand. A devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, he cheered them on with unwavering loyalty through every season. More than anything, Jeff will be remembered for his generous spirit—he was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, offering his time, his skills, and his heart without hesitation.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Homes, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Wednesday, September 10th from 10 – 11 AM, where Jeff’s memorial service will be held at 11 AM. Interment Egmondville Cemetery.
Donations to the Tanner Steffler Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
