Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on June 12, 2017 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Audrey (Hayter) (2013). Loving father of Jeff Bannister of RR 3 Ilderton, Shelley and Al Gardiner of RR 3 Ilderton, Kelly and Ron Dyer of RR 3 Ailsa Craig, Debbie and Scott Kraft of London, and Tim and Jen Bannister of Thorndale. Dear papa of Allyson, Delaney and Ella; Matt, Devin and Cole; Ashley (deceased 2017), Kyle and Taylor; Victoria and Braydon; Blake, Madison and Erica, and step-grandchildren Brody, Nick, Megan and Jack. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bill and Marilyn Bannister, Marion and Joe Duncan, Albert Bannister, and Beth and Barney Clarke. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Lillian Bannister, brother Douglas, and sister-in-law Mary.
Friends and family may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Friday, June 16th at 11 AM with Rev. Sheila Macgregor officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
