BAILEY, Jessie McKenzie: Jessie slipped away quietly in the early morning on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Jessie, formerly of Greenway, age 93, was born October 13, 1919. Beloved wife of the late Edwin Bailey (1987). Lovingly remembered by her children Allan (Janet) Bailey of Shrewsbury, Phyllis Bailey (Andre Pel) of Victoria, B.C., Elizabeth Bailey of South Korea, Daniel Bailey of Greenway, Mary (Denis) Lummerding of Victoria, B.C., her grandchildren Joshua, Winona, Jessie, Chris, Marc, their families and 3 great-grandchildren. Jessie was predeceased by her parents Allan and Annie (Robertson) Burslem, her beloved brother, Allan Burslem, killed during WWII, and her dear sister Anne McCallum. Jessie was the last member of the Burslem Family. A special thank you to the kind and caring staff at Chateau Gardens in Parkhill. Jessie was always cherished and cared for like family. Cremation has taken place. At Jessie’s request there will be no service. Arrangements entrusted to T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, please donate to a Royal Canadian Legion Foundation in her memory, or charity of choice. Remember her fondly.
