Verda Magdelena Baechler of Zurich, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich, in her 92nd year. Sadly missed by her sister Irma (Floyd) Buehler of St. Jacobs, her sister-in-law Mary Baechler of Exeter and several nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Solomon and Leah (Schwartzentruber) Baechler, her brother William Baechler and her sisters Eva (Clarence) Gascho, Gertrude (Oliver) Steckle and Gladys (Neil) Gingerich.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at the Zurich Mennonite Church with visiting from 1 p.m. at the church until service time. Pastor Ken Gazley officiating. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Blake.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich Mennonite Church or a charity of one’s choice.
