    Tom, Kendra, Graham and families,
I am so sad that you have lost Carol, one of the warmest, most genuine people I have known. Nobody was more welcoming — offering food, emotional support, and good old common sense to a teen in need of adult advice. She will be missed. I hope that your memories bring you comfort.

Our sincere condolences to Tom, Kendra, Graham and families for the loss of a dear wife, Mom and Grandma. Bob remembers a very helpful, cooperative and friendly coworker at the Canners. She was great at assisting the Field Department. We both remember her warm smile and welcoming manner. We appreciated the visit from Tom and Carol at our 85th and 90th birthdays celebration. The world is definitely a better place because she was here. May your lovely memories comfort you and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Tom, Kendra, Graham and the Rader Family

Carol was a beautiful lady. Kendra would drag me home like a lost puppy or something and Carol would feed me, such a good cook. Carol would show up at my door with a big bowl of food, “put it in the freezer”.

Carol, Tom, Shirley and Woody would chase around the Exeter Greys ball tournaments. I may have gotten a couple of them into trouble when I slid nto third base on a close call. It was too bad they couldn’t get to see the rest of the game, it was a good one, so entertaining, on the field and off the field.

The Arthurs/Raders were always so good to me.

    Carol you will be missed.

    Tom, Kendra, Graham & families,
We have lost the matriarch of our family! She was as much a sister as my own sister. We left home at the tender age of 15, and attended school and found work in London. We dated together, were bridesmaids at each otherโ€™s weddings. Raised our families together and vacationed together. Carol was a huge influence on my life and we laughed together, we cried together. Now we can only cherish the memories!โ™ฅ๏ธ

Dear Tom, Kendra and Graham and families
Marty and I sharing your sadness in the loss of Carol. The years seem to melt away when we think of the memories that we shared with you, Tom and Carol when Marty worked for you. The extra circular activities were the best but it did flow over to the work environment and Carol made us feel welcome and we had some fun at Christmas parties. Snowmobiling and dancing at the Rec Centre and camping at Port Albert, these all were good times and Carol was right there with food and a great smile! Our sincere condolences to all of you. Our hearts break for your loss.

We send our heartfelt condolences for the loss of your dear wife, mom, and grandmother to Tom and the whole family.

Calling Carol the queen of happy hour at Port Albert is so true. She was legendary for her generosity and hospitality, as was Tom. In fact, if happy hour lasted longer than planned she often fed the stragglers with whatever she had in the freezer, and Tom would light up the grill!

We cherish the time we were fortunate enough to have with Carol and the memories of laughter we shared for many years there. Those were golden times, as were our New Yearโ€™s Eve memories. We rang in many New Years together and Carol always served a lovely buffet at midnight to all her Port Albert guests. She was a fabulous cook!!

Carol will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She treated her neighbours like family. We were so blessed to have known this wonderful woman! We send our love and hugs, Marj and Rick Graff

Tom, Kendra, Graham and families…Most of my younger childhood memories involve being included in the Arthur family. Carol was the Mom on Main St. Whatever was going on, everyone was welcome. If we did something we shouldn’t be doing, she would absolutely let us know. As an adult I still see that close connection and loyalty to her family and friends. Her presence and personality was so strong, she will be missed very deeply.
