Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Monday, August 28, 2006 Antonia (Spriet) Verbeke of Exeter and formerly of Kirkton in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Daniel Verbeke. Dear mother of Kathleen Verbeke and George Allen of Waterloo and Frank and Joanne Verbeke of Exeter. Dear grandmother of Megan, Chris and Amanda. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Irene Spriet and Michel Herreman, Marie-JosÚ Spriet and NoÙl Tuytens, Josef Spriet and Hilda Demets, Jacques Spriet, Palmer Lessens and Andrea Declerc, Jeanne Lessens, Denise Lessens, Hedwige Van Haelewyn and Leona Verbeke, Jacques Cottens and Lydie Verhelst and many nieces and nephews all of Belgium. Predeceased by her brothers Gabriel Spriet, Daniel Lessens, sister-in-law Godelieve Verbeke and brothers-in-law Frans Verbeke and Lucien Tuytens. Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at Precious Blood Church, 200 Sanders Street West, Exeter on Friday, September 1st at 11 AM with Father Ray Lawhead celebrant. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery. Donations to the Precious Blood Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family. Prayers will be said in the funeral home Thursday evening at 8 PM.
