We would like to express our sincere condolences to the Alderdice family. Mona was a bright light in this world. I don’t think I ever saw her without a big smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. My mom, Elva Forrest (McQueen, at the time), was her teacher for a time in elementary school. When she spoke of those days, Mona’s name and antics usually came up. They continued to be friends long into the future. Mona will be missed by many.

Deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mom. Years ago , she gave me a cookbook that the Kippen Women’s Institute had published. Her recipes are in it. It is one that I still use regularly. We met up at a conference program a year ago or more and had a nice visit. Your Mom shared your family news with great pride Memories last forever and your Mom will always be with you.
