HAINES: Peacefully, but unexpectedly at her residence, on Sunday, October 23, 2022, Ruth “Tuddy” Elaine Beatrice (Roeszler) Haines of Exeter, age 80. Beloved wife of the late Donald “Don” “Heinz”Edward James Haines (December 29, 2021). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Kate and Les Cunningham of Exeter, Jamie “Jed” and Kelly Haines of Exeter and Rob and Denise Haines of Crediton. Cherished Grandma of Emma, Zach, Nadine, Abby and Sierra Haines. Remembered by her nieces and nephews in the Roeszler and Hodge families. Predeceased by her parents William H. and Beatrice (England) Roeszler, brothers and sisters and their spouses of Carman Roeszler, Grant and Doreen Roeszler, Lloyd and Eleanor Roeszler, Donald Roeszler, Betty Ann and Cecil Glanville and Eileen Roeszler. At Ruth’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m., where the Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. Interment Crediton Cemetery. Ruth and Don owned and operated Mobile Home Express for many years, Ruth’s meticulous and organized nature made sure that the deliveries and routes were always planned to perfection. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

We were new to town and I still remember the oysters Rockefeller which we were able to share with Don and Ruth and lots of friends.
