Ruth and Don were good friends for many years and we will miss them dearly. Lorne grew up with the Roeszler family in elementary school in Crediton and I was blessed to meet Ruth in SHDH in Commercial Ed. class. Ruth, Joan, Irene and I roomed together in London after graduation. We all enjoyed our time together while working at London Life. Lorne and I continued to enjoy yearly reunions with our dear friends. We were so blessed with their friendship and we will hold the memories of you close to our hearts.

We are so sad to hear that Ruth has gone from us. Lois and I share many happy memories of Ruth, often involving her cooking skills and party organization. We were new to town and I still remember the oysters Rockefeller which we were able to share with Don and Ruth and lots of friends. Lois still has a recipe called Ruth Haines dessert consisting of ice cream sandwich bars, cool whip, straw berry jam, and chocolate bars crushed. Still a favourite with grandchildren
