At Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich on Saturday, August 23, 2014 of Zurich and formerly of Exeter in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Albert A. Hummel (1990). Dear mother of Grace (Bill) Westerhof of St. John, IN, Hank Hummel of Haledon, NJ, and the late Peter (2009) and Sally Hummel of Sarnia. Dear grandmother of Kristen (Andy) Link, Shelley (Tom) Toolis, Nathan (Annie) Westerhof, Justin (Rachel) Westerhof; Kara (Shane) Wilson, Patrick Hummel, Jonathan Hummel; Richard (Lisa) Hummel, Christopher (Kristin) Hummel, Katherine (Lehrend) Reyes, and Tim (Becca) Hummel. Also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and foster son and brother-in-law Pieter (Elizabeth) Hummel of Arthur. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews in Canada, the United States and The Netherlands. Grace was a long time member of the Exeter Christian Reformed Church.
Friends may call at the Exeter Christian Reformed Church, 332 Huron Street West, Exeter on Wednesday, August 27 from 11AM – 1 PM, where the funeral service will be held at 1 PM with Pastor John Verhoog officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter (519-235-1220) entrusted with arrangements.
