Peacefully at Exeter Villa on Sunday January 28, 2007 Ruby Mae Ilene (Pfaff) McNicol in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Alvin McNicol (November 2006). Dear mother of Ray and Alberta McNicol of London and Ken McNicol and his friend Connie Ford of Elimville. Dear grandmother of Tammi and Dwane Shaw of St. Catharines, Marty and Lori McNicol of London, Jen and Derek Locker of Shedden and Brendan and Karen McNicol of London; Alvin, Kenny and Tanya McNicol all of Elimville. Dear great-grandmother of Ryan, Brittany and Brayden; Benton and Tyler; Kyrie; Alyssa, Alexis, and A.J.; and Hailey. Dear aunt of Mel Tebbutt and sister-in-law of Kaye Cooper. Ruby will also be missed by several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Clara (Baker) Pfaff, brother Nelson Pfaff, sisters Kay Neil and Helen Tebbutt and daughter-in-law Sharon. Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 Cecelia Angelina (Gazzola) Donaldson of Lucan in her 77th year. Beloved mother of Christine and Dan Avery of Lucan and David and Debbie Donaldson of Mississauga. Dearly loved grandmother of Darren, Lisa and Craig Avery and step-grandmother of Jessica and Emily Reynolds. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Anna Marie Gazzola, Peter and Moira Gazzola, Tony and Donna Gazzola and John and Deanne Gazzola. Cecelia grew up in Ingersoll but spent most of her life in London. She worked as a legal secretary. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Lucan on Friday, January 26th at 11AM with Father Vincent Van Zutphen presiding. Spring interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Ingersoll. Dear grandmother of Brad Tyler and friend Tabatha, Holly, Dayna and Deven and great-grandmother of Elizabeth. Dear sister-in-law of Elsie Dawn, Jessie McQuarrie, Mike and Helen McQuarrie of the Meaford area and Doreen and Jim Green of Flesherton. Violet will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Beloved husband of Grace (Bonnie) (Bonham) (McDonald) Grose. Dear father of Carol and Dennis Sifton of Williamsburg, Virginia and Joan and Jim Kent of Woodstock. Dear grandfather of Nicole Sifton, Erin and Stu Fraser, and Leigh Sifton; Joel Kent and fiancée J’Neanne Payne and Jennifer and David Merrick; and great-grandfather of Stella and Sasha Fraser and twins Dylan and Jalen Merrick. Predeceased by a brother Mervyn. Larry travelled for Lincoln Electric Company in Eastern Ontario, contacting high school board members promoting the company line of farm welders. In 1954 he attended O.C.E. in Toronto and in 1955 joined the staff of Tillsonburg District High School (Annandale H.S.) where he taught Agriculture Science and Physics.
