At his late residence on Monday, March 28, 2005 Thomas (Tom) J.J. McLellan of Lucan in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Ria (Van Meer) McLellan. Dear father of Jim and Kristen McLellan of London and Jason McLellan of Ilderton. Dear grandfather of Josh and Sarah. Dear son of Carman McLellan of Picton and the late Mary McLellan (2003). Dear brother and brother-in-law of Lavergne and Sharon McLellan of Huntsville, Paul and Sandi McLellan of Foxboro, John and Sheryle McLellan of Picton, Mary and Craig Marchington of Brantford, Peter and Donna McLellan of Beamsville, Donny and Janet McLellan of Huntsville, Dick and Linda McLellan of Beamsville, Matt and Diann McLellan of Vineland, Ellen and Dave Harrington of Picton, Andrew McLellan of Belleville, Veronica and Frank Lessard of Kingston, Jim and Stephanie McLellan of Perth and the late David McLellan (2002); Kees and Fran Van Meer of Owen Sound, Tony and Bella Van Meer of London and Cory Bell and her friend Pat of St. Thomas. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom retired from G.M. Diesel in November 2004 after 30 years. An avid sports fan, he especially loved watching the Toronto Maple Leafs. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Lucan on Thursday, March 31st at 4:30 PM with Father Vincent Van Zutphen presiding. Cremation with interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or London Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Prayers will be said in the funeral home Wednesday evening at 8:30 PM. Frank Ross Brintnell

Suddenly, at his late residence on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 Frank R. Brintnell of Exeter in his 76th year.  Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Weber) Brintnell (1993).  Dear father of Ron of Exeter, Jim and his friend Diane and Marlene Brintnell all of London.  Dear grandfather of Kelly and Jamie and Darcy and Trista; and Shannon, Ashley and Candace and great-grandfather of Alexis, Emma and Zach.   Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jack and Edith Brintnell, Anita and Roy Hunter, Almira Ford, Harold (Har) Brintnell, Jeanne Crocker and Joyce Weber all of Exeter.  Predeceased by a son Richard (1990).  Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Saturday, 1 hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held on Saturday, March 26th at 11 AM with Bob Heywood officiating.  Interment Exeter Cemetery.  Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.  

John Irwin Dobbie

Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 with his family at his side John Irwin Dobbie of Middlesex Centre in his 81st year.  Beloved husband of Dorothy (Cooper) Dobbie for 58 years.  Dear father of John and Carol Anne of Wiarton, William and Joan of Middlesex Centre, Robert and Alice of Lucan, and Judy Dobbie of London.  Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother-in-law of Joan Dobbie of London.  Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary Dobbie and 3 brothers and 5 sisters.  Especially remembered by Irene and Ford Dapueto, Sandra Clode, Pat Jansen and Dr. Ray and Marion Meredith.  John farmed in Westminster and London Townships his entire life and retired in 1997.  Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday, March 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  A private family service will be held on Friday.  Interment Medway Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
