Peacefully with family by his side at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Murray Scott of Seaforth in his 86th year. Cherished father of David Scott (Jacquie) of Stratford and Debbie O’Reilly (Tom) of Dublin and the late Dwayne Scott (Trish) of Blyth. Much loved grandfather of Peyton (Dennis), Preston (Meghan), Chad (Mel), Austin (Amber), Jessyca (Jared) and Josh (Jennsen) and great grandfather of Naelynn and Weston. Dear brother of Glenna Morrison of Toronto and brother-in-law of Elaine Scott of Listowel. Murray will be very sadly missed and forever remembered by his partner Margaret Goldie and her family. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Frona (nee Bender) and Clifford Scott, sisters Earla Calder (Hilton) and Doris Bennett and brother Lorne Scott.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Brucefield Community United Church, 10 London Road, BRUCEFIELD on Thursday, May 29th at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, WIARTON.
