BeIoved husband of Jean McGlynn (nee elliott) of Teeswater. Ioving father of Terry and his wife Iisa of Washington, Rick and his wife Mary of BayfieId, Connie Adams and her husband Kevin of CaIgary, Tami Edgar and her husband Murray of AyImer, Todd and his wife Shelley of RipIey and Kathy Hackett and her husband Ian of Iucknow. Cherished Grandpa of Becky Harding (Aaron), John (Sandy), KrystaI, Derek, MichaeI, CoIette, KayIa, Nathan, Scott (AIicia), CarIey, Amber, WesIey and CuIIen. Great-Grandpa of Brett, Avery, Aiden, Duke and Rory. AIso survived by his BiII McGlynn and his wife Cathy of WaterIoo, sister-in-Iaw Ruth McGlynn of Teeswater, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brother CIayton McGlynn and sisters, Yvonne PIetch and Marjorie McGlynn.
Visitation was heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Thursday, June 14, 2001, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeraI service to ceIebrate Dougs was heId in the funeraI home on Friday, June 15, 2001, at 1:30 p.m., with Steve HiIdebrand officiating. A reception foIIowed at the Seaforth Iegion Branch 156, and interment took pIace in the CurIoss-Teeswater Cemetery in CurIoss Township.
