Following Jim and Donna Hoffman’s retirement, the Dashwood funeral home is now proudly operated by Haskett Funeral Homes, another locally owned, family-operated funeral home with a long-standing commitment to serving families throughout Huron, Lambton and Middlesex Counties.

Honouring the Hoffman Legacy
The Hoffman family’s story in funeral service began nearly a century ago when T. Harry Hoffman entered the profession in 1926. In 1941, he established the Dashwood funeral home that would become a trusted part of the community for generations.
Over the decades, Harry and Maud Hoffman, Bob, and Jim and Donna built a reputation founded on compassion, and service to others.
When Jim and Donna chose to retire, they wanted the funeral home to remain in the hands of another local family dedicated to those same values. We are deeply grateful for their confidence and are proud to continue serving the community from the same location.
Preserving the Hoffman Story
As part of this transition, we have worked to preserve as much of the Hoffman Funeral Home history as possible, including obituary records and historical information.
Because the original website was built using different technology, some older pages, photographs or formatting may not appear exactly as they once did. We appreciate your understanding as we continue preserving this important local history.

We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
