HAUGH: Unexpectedly, surrounded with love, at North Florida Hospital, Gainesville, Florida, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, Terence “Terry” Robert Haugh, of Exeter and Florida, age 70. Much loved partner of Janice Elizabeth (Tieman) Regier of Exeter and Florida. Loving father of Chris Haugh and Lisa Parsons of Wickham, NB, Teresa and Nathan Hern of Hensall. Will be missed by Jennifer Regier and fiancé Justin Indewey of Kitchener. Cherished Grandpa of Josilyn and Connor Corey, Bryson Hern and Sara Hern. Loved by uncles and aunts Glenn Haugh and his husband Russ Mayo of Florida, Joe Hartman of London. Terry will be missed and loved by his many cousins. He will also be sadly missed by his best canine pals Hector and Scooter. Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law Mike Tieman and partner Barb Cooke of Zurich and Gary Tieman and partner Jan Killby of Hay. Predeceased by his wife Debra (Coughlin) Haugh (1973), parents Robert “Bob” Arthur (2002) and Audrey Maxine (Walsh) Haugh (2022), aunt Jean Hartman (2018), Janice’s parents George Ezra (1991) and Shirley Ruth (Smith) Tieman (2023). Terry was an active and passionate member of 18 years with ABATE Bike Club who will be missed by his many club members and his many friends. He enjoyed his time spent in Florida with his many friends and made many fond memories with them. At Terry’s request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Goshen Line Public Cemetery, Dashwood, on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, R.E. Pooley Br. 167, Exeter. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman and Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired memorial donations (payable directly) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

I remember him and the members of ABATE who graciously sponsored for many years to the Huron Sledge Hockey Team out of Hensall. As their coach we had great memories of members having the opportunity to go out on the ice on some of our sledges with our athletes.
