CLARKE: Peacefully, at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, Exeter, on Friday, November 17, 2023 Shirley Eleanor (Winegarden) Clarke of Exeter formerly of Zurich, age 90. Beloved wife of the late James Henry Clarke (1996). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Brenda and the late Murray Harburn of Zurich, Bill Clarke of Parkhill, Rick Clarke of Zurich, Gail and Pat Masse of Zurich, the late Heather Clarke and Ed James of Grand Bend. Cherished grandma of Jeff Harburn, Jason Harburn, Chantal McCutcheon (Mitch), Dylan (Madi) Masse, Danielle Wragg (Brayden), Kobe James. Treasured great-grandma of Chase, Madi, Clara, Maeve, Ashley (Cody “Joe”), Cody, Colton, Olivia, Tanek, Calliope, Brody and Emma and great-great-grandma of 6. Dear sister of Evelyn Harmer of Woodstock, George Winegarden of Parkhill and sister-in-law of Willis Heaslip of London, Ruth and Bob Galloway of St. Marys, Jean Clarke of RR 3, Dashwood and Marlene Valender of Phelpston. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Earl and Bertha (Pollock) Winegarden, siblings and in-laws Bob Harmer, Loatus and Morland Turner, Betty Heaslip, Inez Winegarden, Kenneth and Isabel Winegarden, Orville and Florena Winegarden, Everett and June Winegarden, Bev and Carol Winegarden, Norma and Tom Morley, Arthur Greenless, Phyllis and Charles Deveau, Audrey and Bill Holden, Evelyn and Art Hutchinson, Lillian “Sis” and Joe McCann, Marie and Don Dinney, Roy and Marg Clarke, Russell and Audrey, Ross and Donna Clarke, Howard Clarke and chosen brother Edward Valender. At Shirley’s request, cremation has taken place. A Private Family Interment Service will be held at the Grand Bend Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

we are so saddened to see that Shirley has passed …we have a lot of memories of fun times to-gether.. Also with Geo.delivering fluel to us at the Lanes… Also when I worked with Inez at B.W. R. H. back in the early 60.s.. Shirley will hold good mems. with me forever.
