WALES: Peacefully, at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, October 31, 2022, just one week after her 98th birthday, Elizabeth (Renfrew) Wales of Townsend, formerly of Burlington, Guelph and Grand Bend. Beloved wife of the late John Richard Wales (2007). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Christine Mary Solomon and her husband John of Port Dover, Elizabeth Anne Mosher and her husband Peter of Whistler, BC. Loving Grandma of Michael (Kate) Solomon, Carrie (Michael) Richardson, Mark (Christa) Mosher and Douglas Mosher. Cherished Great-Grandma of Carter Solomon, Blake Solomon, Rachael Richardson, Connor Richardson and Freya Mosher. Predeceased by her parents William and Mary (Templeton) Renfrew, sister Margaret Meikle, siblings-in-law Brenda Wales, Ursula Aitkin, Frank Wales, Howard Wales, Charles Wales and Roger Wales (WWII). Born in Scotland, Elizabeth did a great deal of travelling and saw a lot of the world including spending ten years in the Philippines with her husband and children. Special thanks to the staff at Parkview Meadows (Southview) Retirement Village, Townsend, Ontario for all the special care she was given for the six years she resided there. At Elizabeth’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held at this time. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
