SMITH, Murray: Unexpectedly, but peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Thursday, June 30, 2022, Murray Lloyd Smith, of Port Franks, age 68. Beloved partner of Beverly Ann (Volk) Romphf. Loved father of Cameron Buehrmann Smith of London, stepfather to Desiree (John) Keddy of Welland, Mark (Sandra) Romphf and Daryl (Sarah) Romphf all of Parkhill. Dear brother of Gilbert (Catherine) Smith of Port Stanley, Robin Smith of London and Heather Dufresne (François) of Saint Lambert, QC. Remembered by Willow and Daphne Romphf, dear friends George and Terry Mahas, his nieces, nephews and their families and the Volk Family. At Murray’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Murray’s Life will be held at a later date, time and location to be announced. Murray was the King of Hearts, he gave selflessly to any in need. He will truly be missed. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. I am so sorry to hear of Murray’s passing. I enjoyed many long and varied conversations with Murray over the many years of our acquaintance as neighbours and friends here in Port Franks. My most sincere condolences to Bev and all of Murray’s family. I will miss him.
