So very saddened to hear of our friend Don’s passing. We sure remember all the fun times that were had when we were neighbours and how Don enjoyed the garage parties that the guys had where they shared a few cold ones, had lots of laughs and watched sports with other neighbours, also great memories of playing pool, fishing trips and skidoo trips, barbaques and friendly dinner parties we all had together just because or on special occassions. Sending deepest condolences to Cheryl, Amanda and family. Our thoughts are with you at this very difficult time and hope that all the beautiful memories with keep you smiling. RIP Don. Sending hugs from your friends Doug and Marilyn

I mostly remember Dons cheerful disposition, big laugh and positive coaching type personality. He was never afraid to tackle an engine repair just to “tune” it up – although I suspect it was actually just fine but he liked to tinker.

He was always so kind to my Sister Katy and I. He introduced us to the biggest dog I knew at a young age, Bell and often took the time to get down on the ground and play with his daughter Amanda and I.

My favourite memory was when Don and my Dad Ron each held onto an ankle and wrist of one of my friends at my 10th birthday and threw us down the “crocodile mile” (slippery slide).

Rest Easy Don. Big hugs to your family. Miss you all.

    Gary Pike and Family.

    Xxx
