COWAN: Passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly after a brief illness, at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital, London, on Sunday, April 3, 2022 John “Super” Sydney Cowan of Grand Bend, formerly of Caledonia, age 72. Beloved husband of Jo-Ann Elizabeth (Pettit) Cowan. Loved father and father-in-law of Will Cowan and his fiancée Dianna Puzara of Port Franks, Sam Cowan and her husband Cameron Derry of London. Cherished Gramps of Mason Puzara and Thomas Derry. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sheila Ellerton of Bronte, Betty and Andy Mueller of Wasaga Beach, Don and Sharon Cowan of Parry Sound, Marvin and Judy Cowan of Exeter, Walter and Wendy Cowan of Kamloops, BC, Rick and Gayle Pettit of Bayfield. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents William Stuart and Clara Ellen Mary (Whitmell) Cowan. At John’s request cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
