I met Elinor when she came to the strawberry farm to get some berries a few years ago. She drove up in her much loved car. We started talking and got to know each other a little bit. I remember her saying that coming to the farm felt like visiting an old friend. I surely felt the same. She had so many interesting stories and was a wealth of information on so many things. She brought me her book that she had written and her cookbook that I truly enjoy. She was a warm, sweet lady. I am so sorry for the familyโs loss. I am sure she will be sorely missed.

Fred and family:
I am thinking of all of you at this sad time and send my deepest condolences.
Elinor was a special, talented individual. She was a dedicated volunteer of mine who became a friend who I cherished, and loved to listen to her stories. Elinor was always a bundle of energy who got involved in all sorts of activities and events. The last time I had lunch with her and the other volunteers in Grand Bend will be fondly remembered.
I wish you peace and comfort as you grieve this loss.
Donโt let go of your precious memories.
