
KEYS: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, Joan (McWilliams) Keys, of Exeter, age 84. Beloved wife of the late Murray Love Keys (1998) and Richard Veenstra (2011). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Daryl and Carol Ann Keys of RR 1, Exeter, Beth Keys and her husband Michael Kudryk of Toronto and Bonnie Keys and Mark Carroll of Guelph. Cherished grandma of James (Anna), Scott (Jess), Bradley (Courtney), Sean, Maliya, Brett and Brandon. Treasured great-grandma/GG of Dylan, Beatrice and Felicity. Dear sister of Shirley Walker of West Lorne and Jacqueline Leitch of Dutton. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Sadie (Johnston) McWilliams, siblings and in-laws Cameron and Helen McWilliams, Robert Walker, Cameron Leitch, Robert and Dorothy Keyes, Ross and Helen Keys and John Keys. At Joanโs request, cremation has taken place. A Private Memorial and Interment Service will be held at the Bayfield Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the South Huron Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Deepest sympathy to Joan’s family. My husband and I went to high school with Joan and remember being surprised the first time I met her living in the same area as we do. Often visited with her at the grocery store. I knew she was ill but was so surprised to see that she had passed. Will miss seeing her.
