BEST: On Saturday, May 22, 2021, William (Bill) Pearse Best passed away in Exeter, ON, at the age of 91.
Bill will be remembered lovingly as Dad, Grandpa and Big Poppa Pump. He will be remembered for his love of tennis, crosswords and as someone prone to bouts of selective hearing as it suited him :) He was a strong and caring man, who tried hard to do right by everyone he loved.
Bill will be missed dearly by Dan (Carrie) and their children Josh (Caroline), Cassidy, and Caleb. Big Poppa Pump will also be missed by Great Grandson Morgan. Bill leaves behind a son (Ron) and a daughter (Cathy). He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (nee Tovell).
At his request there will be no service.
Donations may be made directly to the South Huron Hospital Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
