JOHNSTON: Peacefully, at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, on Sunday, May 28, 2017, Jean Marion (Tennent) Johnston, formerly of Elmwood Subdivision, RR 1, Dashwood, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Reginald Johnston (2000). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Harlie and Daphne Johnston of RR 2, Zurich, Brian and Bonnie Johnston of RR 1, Dashwood and Brenda Feenstra of London. Loving Nanny of Kari Johnston and Collin Kallio, Scott Johnston and Sharon Kanhai-Johnston, Shana and Adrian Lavictoire, David and Halina Johnston, James Feenstra and Kellie Foley, Jenna Feenstra and Jesse Dykens. Cherished great-Nanny of Amber Lavictoire, Emma Lavictoire, Isla Johnston. Dear sister-in-law of Phyllis Johnston of Goderich. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Edward Harlie and Vera Olive (Thorne) Tennent, brother David and Joene Tennent. At Jean’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Grand Bend Area Health Services Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
