Unexpectedly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, Robert “Bob” Ross Finkbeiner of Shipka, age 65. Beloved husband of Dianne (Hodge) Finkbeiner. Loved father and father-in-law of Jeff and Jackie Finkbeiner of Shipka and the late Kristopher Finkbeiner (1995). Bob is known by his grandchildren, Tyson, Mason and Payton as Grandpa Bob or Bob the Builder. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bill and Nancy Finkbeiner of Shipka, Dave and Mary Finkbeiner of Kincardine, Joan Finkbeiner of Exeter, Ruth and John Miller of Exeter, Sharon Miller of Port Stanley, William and Joanne Hodge of Centralia, Bruce and Deb Hodge of Crediton, Joan Hodge of Hamilton, Karen Hodge and Brenda Roberts of London. Predeceased by his parents Harold (2004) and Doreen (Coultis) Finkbeiner (2008), parents-in-law William Hodge (1969), Eleanor (McLeod) (Hodge) Roeszler (1993) and Lloyd Roeszler (1999). Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Zion United Church, Crediton on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Sandra Cable and Mr. Mark Graves Officiating. Interment Crediton Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario (London) or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
