COLE: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Monday, July 11, 2016, Harold Owen Cole, of Grand Bend, formerly of London, age 60. Beloved husband of Audrey Anne (Schering) Cole. Loved son of I. Beryl (Westgate) Cole of London formerly of Thorndale and the late Frank. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jim and Karen Cole of Dorchester, Fern and Tom Penstone of Lacombe, AB., Tony Schering of Byron, Jack Schering of Grand Bend, Elly and Morris Collver of London, Maria and Dave Edwards of Grand Bend. Cherished son-in-law of Jenny Schering of London and the late Arie. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Harry Schering and his wife Pat and Terry Walker. Harold will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families along with his co-workers of 30 + years at L.H.S.C., and his many golf buddies. At Harold’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Southcott Pines Club House, Lakeview Ave. Grand Bend, on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. Please feel free to wear your favourite Golf Shirt. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
