ALLEN: Peacefully at his residence in London, on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, Edward “Ed” Charles Allen, in his 74th year, formerly of Huron Park and Grand Bend. Beloved husband of Brenda Gail (Harrington) Allen. Loved father and father-in-law of Natasha and Richard Marier of Bayfield, Rachelle Allen of St. Thomas. Cherished grandpa of Madeline, Meredith, Makena, Melanie, Mitchell and Memphis Marier great-grandpa of Ella and Maverick. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gilbert “Gib” Allen of Vancouver, B.C., Ken and Joan Allen of Guelph, Ruth and Stan Psutka of Kitchener, Ernie and Sandra Harrington of Gatineau, QC., Beverley and Robert Leeson of London. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Irene (Reeves) Allen and brother Raymond Allen. At Ed’s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 459 Second St., London, on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
