OLEKSON: Peacefully at St. Marys Long Term Care Facility – Mount Hope, London, on Friday, March 18, 2016, Lydia (Erstling) Olekson, of London, formerly of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, age 92. Beloved wife of the late Peter Alexander “Ole” Olekson (1994). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Donald Olekson, Diane Olekson both of London, Sharon and Dennis Butcher of Collingwood. Cherished grandma of Jeffrey Butcher. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Rudolph and Elizabeth Erstling, brothers Roy, Fred, Ted and Albert, sister Olive Boyce. At Lydia’s request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Private Interment Grand Bend Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations, payable by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
