KOEHLER: Peacefully, at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, Sunday, August 29, 2004, Elda Catherine (Kraft) Koehler in her 92nd year, formerly of Dashwood. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Frederick Koehler (1982). Loved mother of Gloria and Robert Hayter of Dashwood, Anne Nagel of Exeter and the late Barbara Martene (1964). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their families. Dear sister-in-law of Gottlieb “Skipper” Koehler of Huronview, Clinton. Predeceased by her grandson Richard Hayter (1995), sister Verna Feast (1983), brother Ward Kraft (1991) and her parents John L. (1921) and M. Matilda (Willert) (1943) Kraft. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation Tuesday, 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Dashwood, Wednesday, September 1st, 2004, at 11 am. The Rev. John E. Trembulak III officiating. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Zion Lutheran Church or charity of choice would be appreciated. Elda and Ernie operated Koehler’s bakery and Huron County Library in Dashwood for many years.
