HARGREAVES: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Sunday, July 27, 2003, Albert Edward “Al” Hargreaves, of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Etobicoke, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Annie Ione “Oney” (McColeman) Hargreaves (Dec. 24, 2002). Loved father of Larry and Lorraine Hargreaves of Beamsville, Wayne Hargreaves of Port Credit, Terry and Karen Hargreaves of Mississauga. Loving grandpa of Laura, Adam, Bryan and Michael. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and Alex Murray of Milton. Predeceased by his parents Milton and Sarah (Fowles) Hargreaves and brother Sidney Hargreaves. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Tuesday 6 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 12 noon. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. Al served on the R.C.N. ship “The St. Clair” during the Invasion of Normandy and was retired from the City of Etobicoke administration department.
