CAREY: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Wednesday, May 7, 2003, Theresa Jane Carey R.N. of London, formerly of Long Beach, California and Mount Carmel, in her 62nd year. Beloved daughter of Laura Rosalie (Masse) Carey of Mount Carmel and the late Hubert James Carey (1983). Loved sister of Paul Carey of London, Margaret Girard, Irene and Charles Micallef, all of Windsor, Donald and Margaret Carey, Pat Carey and fiancee Mary-ann Moore, all of Mount Carmel and Geraldine Carey of Windsor. Predeceased by her sister Rosalie Carey (1970). Loved by her nieces and nephews Tracey Girard, Brian Girard, Catherine and Rod Bustamante, Steven Micallef, Phil Carey, Maureen Carey and fiancé Mike Barclay, Janet Carey, Michael, Caroline, Julie and Lydia Moore. Remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. Greatest great-aunt of Darnell Girard and Victoria Bustamante. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers at the Funeral Home Friday at 1:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, on Saturday, May 10, 2003 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Paul Baillargeon Celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated. Theresa graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, London, in 1962 and her career took her to Long Beach, California, Lowell, Massachusetts and back to London.
