MILNES: After a courageous battle with lung disease, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, March 10, 2003, Derek Ernest Milnes, of Bankside Terrace Kitchener, formerly of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Annie “Kay” (Harrison) Milnes (2001). Much loved father and father-in-law of Jeannette Milnes and partner Doug Lingard of Toronto, Donna and Jon Boyd, Justine and Jon Penrose, all of Kitchener. Loving grandpa of Bret Boyd, Scott Boyd, twins Sara and Dana Penrose and Kyle Penrose. Dear brother-in-law of Chrissie and Denny Cunningham of Yorkshire, England. Also remembered by his nephew Ian and niece Catherine and their families. Private family arrangements with interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend.
