
MAAS: Peacefully, at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, on Friday, January 31, 2003, Henricus Joseph “Harry” Maas of Exeter, formerly of Grand Bend, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Catherine “Cathe” (Huybers) Maas of Exeter. Loved father and father-in-law of Henriette “Henri” and Godfrey Demarco of Minnesota, Ann and Larry Marchand of R. R. #2, Zurich, Ria and Scott Waldie of Port Moody, BC., Henry and Julie Maas of Sarnia, Frank and Joyce Maas of Exeter. Lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and their families. Dear brother of Jane and Frank Kanters of Strathroy, three sisters and three brothers in Holland. Predeceased by three brothers. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 4 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, 200 Sanders St. W., Exeter, on Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Paul J. Baillargeon celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel R. C. Cemetery, Mt Carmel. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated.
