BALLINGER: Peacefully, at Stratford General Hospital, on Friday, January 3, 2003, Dorothy Lorraine (Deacon) Ballinger of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, Ontario, formerly of Munising, Michigan, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Victor Ballinger (1991). Loved mother of Rick and Diane Ballinger, of Oxford, Michigan and Susan Hoover of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Loving grandma of Derek and Bryan Sumpter, Dustin and Dalton Hoover, Stefanie and Kelsey Ballinger. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Marilyn and David Stoker of Grand Bend. Remembered by her nephew Michael Stoker and family. A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Ontario (519-237-3532) on Monday, January 6, 2003 at 11 a.m. Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated. Dorothy was a former employee of Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital, Pontiac, Michigan.
