BECKER: Peacefully, at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, on Tuesday, December 3, 2002, Leila Margaret (Clausius) Becker, formerly of Zurich and R. R. #1, Dashwood, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Edmund George Becker (1980). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Earl Becker of R. R. #1, Dashwood, Helen Overholt and friend Paul Morrison of Zurich, Jean Holmes and companion Jim Morris of Stratford, Janet and Bruce Rock of R. R. #2, Monkton, Elva and Ralph Otten of R. R. #5, Seaforth. Loved by her nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and their families. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Helma and Elmer Beierling of R. R. #2, Zurich, Irene Clausius of Exeter and the Edmund Becker family. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Bonnie Joan (Peters) Becker (1995), son-in-law Garry Joseph Overholt (1982), grandson Baby Overholt (1972), brothers Harvey, Albert, Clifford and Hugh Clausius. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday afternoon and evening. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Zurich, on Saturday, December 7, 2002 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Ross Thomson officiating. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
