CASSIDY: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Friday, March 22, 2002, Dr. Howard Joseph “Joe” Cassidy D.V.M., M.R.C.V.S., of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Toronto, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Wilma Joan “Billie” (Train) Cassidy. Loved father and father-in-law of Dr. J. David Cassidy and his wife Dr.Linda Carroll of Edmonton, Alberta, Joanne Cassidy and her partner Dr. Bruce Menchions of Ancaster. Loving “Pop” of his grandson Jesse Page. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gerald Cassidy of Napanee, Jean and Michael Finn, Irene and Donny Murphy all of Kingston. Loved by his nieces, nephews and their families. A Mass to celebrate Joe’s life will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Grand Bend, on Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at 11 A.M. The Rev. Father Paul J. Beck, Celebrant. Cremation with interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. If desired, memorial donations to the Grand Bend Area Health Services Foundation, Grand Bend Rotary Club or charity of choice would be appreciated. Dr. Joe graduated from the University of Guelph in 1948 and for many years was proprietor of Bayview Animal Hospital, Toronto and Unionville Veterinary office, retiring in 1997. T.
