
RUTTEN: Peacefully at her residence, surrounded by the love of her husband and 10 children, on Sunday, January 27, 2002, Christina Apolonia “Tini” (Vander Meer) Rutten, of Pinedale Subdivision, R. R. #2, Grand Bend. She was born in Rotterdam, Holland, October 21, 1918. Beloved wife of John and dear mother of Theo of Grand Bend, Chris and Pete VanBoekel of Innerkip, Pete and Mary-Angela of Mount Carmel, Joanne of London, Tony of Mount Carmel, Mary, Teresa both of London, Betty Lukey of Ancaster, Berny and Mark O’Meara of London, Louise and Brad Hammond of Bracebridge. Loving Oma of Bert and Shannon, Peter and Sarah, Laurie and Mark, Diane and Kurt; Keri, Jim, John, Kelly; Erica and Dave; Nicole, Mike, Brad; Krystle, Terra and Katie. Great-Oma of Dayne, Bianca, Madison, Emily, Kyle and Joshua. Sister of Loes and Pete Willemson and best friend of our Tanta Jo; all of Holland. Loved by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by son-in-law Norm Lukey (1989), 3 brothers and 2 sisters in Holland. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Tuesday afternoon and evening. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 at 11 A.M. The Rev. Father Paul J. Baillargeon Celebrant. Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Grand Bend Area Community Health Centre or charity of choice would be appreciated.
