RAE: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Thursday, May 24, 2001, Elvena (Green) Linden-Rae of Grand Bend, formerly of Islington, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Alexander N. Rae and the late Charles L. Linden (1964). Loved mother of Barry Linden of Grand Bend, Lorne and Kathyrn Linden of Balmoral, Manitoba, and Janice Haugh of Brucefield. Loving grandma of Robert Linden, Virginia VanGorder and her fiancé Brian Moffatt, Charlie and Veronique VanGorder and great-granddaughter Emelie VanGorder. A private family service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Saturday, May 26, 2001 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated. Elvena was a Charter Member of Humber Valley United Church, Islington.
