BURGESS: Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Sunday, December 17, 2000, Eugene “Gene” Burgess of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Scarborough, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Lilian C. Burgess. Dear brother of Jim Burgess, Fran Daca and Marion Burgess all of Toronto. Predeceased by his brother Frank Burgess. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Monday afternoon 2-4 P.M. Family and friends may call at Turner & Porter “Yorke” Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway,Toronto, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Tuesday. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 20, 2000 at 11 A.M. The Rev. Keith Riddell officiating. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens, Toronto. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated.
