BRIDEAU: Suddenly at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Wednesday, August 9, 2000, Edward Joseph “Ed” Brideau of Dashwood, in his 55th year. Loved husband and best friend of Brenda Kipfer. Devoted and cherished father of Melissa at home. Also loved by his children Lee, Lisa, Ian and his wife Karen. Grandpa of Jacob, Victoria and Ashley. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Charles and Shirley Brideau, Anna and Fred Briggs, Alphonse and Sheree Brideau all of St. John, New Brunswick, Larry and Claudette Brideau of St. Marys, Gerard Brideau of Ottawa, Yvon and Peggy Brideau of Kitchener, Marguerite and Roger Lapointe of Orford, Quebec. Dear son-in-law of Shirley Kipfer of Dashwood and the late Elgin “Kip” Kipfer. Will be deeply missed by Brian and Jill Kipfer, Kevin Kipfer and Michelle Lightheart all of Dashwood, Kim and Bill Graff of Melbourne. Loved by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Vincent Joseph and Mary Catherine (Gionet) Brideau. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday afternoon and evening; where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2000 at 11 a.m. Mrs. Irene Richardson officiating. Interment Calvary United Church Cemetery, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations to the Melissa Brideau Trust Fund or Easter Seal Society would be appreciated.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
