ZIMMER: At South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Friday, February 11, 2000, Verna Jean (Ravelle) Zimmer of Grand Bend, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Frederick Zimmer (January, 1996). Dear mother of Gary Zimmer, and Sylvia and Ray Beierling, all of Grand Bend. Loving grandmother of David Beierling of Exeter, Christopher Beierling, and Sharlene (Shari) Beierling, both of Grand Bend. Dear sister of Irene Penfound of R. R. #1, Grand Bend. Also survived by her aunt Aileen Ravelle of Parkhill, sister-in-law Regina Zimmer of Dashwood, several nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by sister Violet Chilton, brother Stewart (Louie) Ravelle, and her parents Remy and Annie (Thompson) Ravelle. At Verna’s request, there will be no funeral home visitation. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Grand Bend, on Wednesday, February 16, 2000 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Paul J. Beck, Celebrant. Interment of ashes, Pinery Cemetery, R. R. #2, Grand Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. T.
