WILLIMOTT: Gladys Eleanor (Skelding) Willimott (November 26, 1924 – October 16, 2014), of Exeter. Peacefully, with her son and daughter by her side at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Thursday, October 16, 2014, age 89. Mom now joins her beloved husband and best friend Frederick “Fred” Willimott, who predeceased her on November 22, 2013. Special and loving mom to Richard Willimott of Kingsville, Kim and Steve Baynham of Exeter, daughter-in-law Laurie Willimott of St. Thomas. Predeceased by her son Rodger Willimott (2009), grandson Todd, parents George and Jessie (Pollock) Skelding, five sisters Helen, Norma, Ila, Violet and Viola and one brother Bernie, her father and mother-in-law Ambrose and Florence Willimott, brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Florence Willimott. Beloved and special Nana to Jess and Grandma to Kelly, Erica, Katie, Jamie and several great-grandchildren. A special thank you to the nursing staff at South Huron Hospital for the care and compassion shown to mom. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired memorial donations (payable by cheque) may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Society, South Huron Hospital Foundation or a charity of choice.
